Erbium Oxide is a highly insoluble thermally stable Erbium source suitable for glass, optical, and ceramic applications. Erbium has applications as an amplifier in fiber optics, and in lasers for medical and dental use. Erbium oxide is used in the manufacture of high grade glass, ceramics, and capacitors, and as a glass colorant.
